These are the easiest treat for the holidays EVER! There’s no-baking required, and you only need 5 ingredients. And even better, this recipe is gluten-free, nut-free, vegan, and top 8 allergen free! You will definitely want to make these easy allergy-friendly chocolate reindeer treats throughout the holidays. All the brands I used to make these treats are linked below, and they’re also all produced in allergy-friendly facilities. If you need more safe product recommendations, I always share lots to my Instagram page @emsnutfreeeats! I also love showing new products I find out and about when shopping! All you need to make the reindeer is chocolate sunflower butter cups, candy eyes, pretzels, and red candies! To hold everything together, I melt down some dark chocolate chips and use a toothpick to adhere everything to the sun butter cup. These treats can be made in less than 5 minutes and eaten in a couple seconds!
What You Need to Make Easy Allergy-Friendly Chocolate Reindeer Treats
- Dark chocolate sunflower butter cups: I used Free2b dark chocolate sunflower butter cups, which are free of the top 12 allergens.
- Red candies: If you don’t have a nut allergy, you can use red M&Ms. If you do, the best nut-free version are No Whey Chocolate No Nos. I ended up using YumEarth giggles, which are the allergy-friendly version of skittles. They’re also completely free of artificial colors and dyes.
- Candy eyes: I like using the larger candy eyes for these treats, but you can use smaller ones if you only have those at home!
- Gluten-free pretzels: My all-time favorite gluten-free pretzels are from the brand Savor Street. Savor Street bakes their grain-free pretzels in a dedicated gluten-free oven. Their entire bakery is also nut-free!
- Dark chocolate chips: I love using Guittard chocolate chips in my recipes because all their chocolate is nut-free.
